Shane Cloutier

Spend a moment in his presence and you’ll know it’s a passion that runs deep. Music is in his blood. Originally from Orillia Ontario, singer songwriter Shane Cloutier first picked up a guitar at the age of 12 and never looked back. His uncle Brent, introduced Shane to bands like Motorhead, Iron Maiden, and Ozzy Osbourne and he was hooked! Shane pursued his education in music in Toronto before finding his home in Collingwood, Ontario.

Shane has taught within the education system as well as building his own successful & inspirational music school. Shane encourages his students to make their own music and follow their dreams, all the while pursuing his own. Now, with many years immersed in the business he brings experience, soul, and a story to everything he creates. In 2012, Shane put out his first album ‘Scars’ for which he received national attention and a place on a movie soundtrack. It was here that Shane was discovered by Ibanez guitars, who now endorse him.

Shane’s latest work is a solo acoustic album, recorded exclusively on an acoustic guitar. When Shane’s friend, mentor and guitar legend Frank Marino heard some of Shane’s new tracks he asked Shane to play rhythm guitar on Mahogany Rush’s future albums. Featuring the first single, “Shape of me”, you won’t want to miss Shane’s new album ‘In Light’.

Dave Evans

Dave Evans

After forming his first band In Session in Charters Towers when he was 17 Dave moved to Sydney where he helped form a band (no name yet!) with Malcolm Young, Colin Burgess and Larry van Kriedt – a week later Malcolm’s younger brother Angus joined. Malcolm and Angus’ sister-in-law Sandra came up with the name AC/DC – to signify power and energy – and so one of the greatest rock and roll bands ever was born!

After parting ways with AC/DC Dave Evans moved to Newcastle just north of Sydney and joined up and coming hard rock outfit Rabbit in early 1975. Rabbit were already the number one rock band in Newcastle and the surrounding area and Dave had seen them performing at Chequers nightclub in Sydney and was impressed with their confronting stage presence. It wasn’t long until they had signed with CBS records and recorded their first album “Rabbit” which had some success.

After a decades long career as a recording and solo artist Dave still tours in Europe and North America to this day.
